River Nene 2.5 hours , 70 fish - Mark Footit

Finally got back to the rivers today after work for 2 1/2 hours, river Nene at Stibbington . The river had a touch of colour and plenty of pace, fished 2 gram Desque float at 10 metres.
Top 5 rig. Fed 6 balls of 50/50 black lake and black Gardons.
Pinkie or caster on the hook.
Small amount of Pinkie, Caster, Hemp in the feed.
77 mixed fish and done over 6 times by pike.
Boy did I enjoy it, next stop Witham and the Soar
